2024 ICON QUARTERFLASH

In stock form, the Z125 cranks out 9.5 hp and weighs just 225 lbs. But Quarterflash has spent an inordinate amount of time getting it's pump on. Hitting the gym, the power plant received some upgrades to help unleash Quarterflash’s full potential! First on the agenda was increasing power with a 155cc Big Bore Kit with the stroker crank paired with a Mtake Intake courtesy of MNNTHBX. In addition, stacked with a DynoJet Power Commander, DynoJet Autotune and a Yoshimura exhaust system, Quarterflash was getting ready to punch above its original weight class.

Adding a Swingarm Str

Going under the knife (saw), the body of Quarterflash came together starting with an Airtech Yamaha OW-O1 fairing which is substantially larger than the Z125, the fairing was gently tailored to fit. ICON sculpted a new one-piece tank cover and tail section from fiberglass, finishing things off with a racing foam seat pad and a host of 3D-printed details.

etch Extension, a 2.5" lowering link (MNNTHBX) and a Nitron NTR R1 shock to top things off. The stock 12” hoops are shod with new Avon rubber, with EBC brake pads adding extra stopping power. But the transformation was far from over.
